Khalid volunteers Saturdays teaching computer basics to children at Shabaha Children’s Home

At Shabaha Children’s Home, our KK Digital Foundations sessions are helping children aged 5 to 13 take their first steps into the digital world.

Led by our Executive Assistant, Khalid, who volunteers his time on Saturdays, the sessions introduce children to computer basics, from identifying different parts of a computer to learning how to switch it on and off.

Each child has a Skills Passport to track their progress and celebrate new skills. Over time, the aim is to build on these foundations and introduce AI prompting and coding, opening up new opportunities for the future.
