A warm welcome to Enock Philipo, who joins Kijana Kwanza, as our Social Welfare Officer, supervising the children of Halima Orphanage in their newly rented property.
The loyal and trusted Mama Ummy also switches roles this week, and will be living on-site to cook and care for the children.
We are pleased to announce that pro-bono architects, HMJK Ltd, have just started work on designing a new Children’s Home for them, and many more orphaned, abandoned and street children.
Construction is expect to start in the next few months on a 1-acre plot in Shabaha District, recently acquired by the charity.
