After completing an apprenticeship in tailoring, sponsored by the Lady Fatemah Trust (LFT), Mariam has opened up shop in this little shack to run her own tailoring business.
She is supported by Levina, also sponsored by LFT, who is in her final year, studying towards a Diploma in Business Administration.
It’s just been a week, but Mariam is already busy preparing graduation costumes for students who complete secondary school examinations next month.
