A Very Merry Christmas from Shabaha Farm in Moshi Rural, where 5 new dairy cows are enjoying a sumptuous Christmas Dinner, served by Farmer Idrisa.
Last week, these healthy specimens arrived to play their part in Kijana Kwanza’s 5-year development goal to become food sustainable so that we never need to fundraise to feed the children and young people living at one of our shelters.
It’s still early days, but not only will these dairy cows provide fresh milk for our children, but also enable us to sell the surplus to cover our farming costs.
