This week, we welcomed Naqiyah, Safiyah and Zainab, best friends from London to volunteer at Kijana Kwanza.
Yesterday, they visited our 7-acre farm in Shabaha District – a project that aims to make Kijana Kwanza food sustainable, and no longer reliant on donations to feed the children and young people in our care.
Whilst Naqiyah helped Farmer Abduli prepare the soil for planting tomatoes, Safiyah fed the chickens and Zainab had a go at milking the cows!
