At Kijana Kwanza, we select students for sponsorship based on their need rather than their academic results.
Many of the young people we support have faced significant hardships, including long absences from school. Understandably, this can make keeping up with studies a real challenge.
That’s why role models like Shabani are so important. A graduate with a diploma in pharmacy and a sponsored student himself, Shabani now gives back by helping children at our Kariwa Shelter who need extra support with their studies.
