Brayan is an only child who was abandoned by his mother and left in the care of his grandmother, who was already financially struggling. Sadly, she was unable to meet his needs, and Brayan was eventually referred to Kijana Kwanza. Since then, he has found safety and stability at our Kariwa Shelter.
This week, Brayan’s grandmother passed away. With her loss, we have become the only family Brayan has left in the world.
Though this is a painful loss, Brayan is surrounded by people who care for him deeply. He is now part of a family that will never leave him behind.
