Our children at Shabaha Children’s Home have been cooking up a storm during our life skills session.
Divided into four groups, they learned how to make banana maandazi ( sweet fried dough with banana) and chapati za mayai (egg pancakes).
A judge tasted all the dishes and chose Group Two as the winners for their delicious pancakes 🏆. Group One came very close, missing the top spot after adding just a little too much salt!
Lots of laughter, teamwork and new skills learned!
