Recently, we shared the loss of Brayan’s grandmother, his last living family member. Since joining Kijana Kwanza, Brayan has been forming new, meaningful family connections, people who care for him deeply and will always be by his side.
While Kusunia, our social worker, was away at a conference, Brayan missed her so much that he decided to write her a letter. This is especially touching because before coming here, he did not know how to write.
