A Mother with Leprosy
After 35-year-old Ashura developed leprosy, she lost her job as a street food vendor and her husband left her, leaving her to care singlehandedly for 4 children.
Ashura’s family is one of 100s of households across Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania, who are registered with Kijana Kwanza to receive Easter & Ramadan Food Parcels this year.
We are pleased to announce that the Beta Charitable Trust will match-fund the first 200 food parcels sponsored, which cost £35/$45 each. Give generously at:
PS. Ashura has started treatment, thanks to your support and regular donations.
