It was an emotional evening for Teacher Sadath, who tonight led proceedings at our first graduation ceremony.
In December 2018, Sadath welcomed the first 6 children who arrived at our shelter in Moshi, Tanzania. Four years on, they have just completed their final secondary school examinations and are ready to progress to the next stage of their lives with new and better opportunities ahead.
Today, Kijana Kwanza is a very different organisation. Working across 6 sites, we sponsor over 130 students and provide services to nearly 8,000 people each year.
