Whilst the new academic year began in January, 5 weeks on, some students have yet to turn up.

As part of our annual Back to School initiative, Teacher Regan and Teacher Juma have been busy scouring government lists and trying to locate the missing children who normally come from some of the poorest households and families and lack the means to go to school.

This year, 56 children were identified in Moshi Town, and at the start of the week they received their new school uniform and a school bag containing all the essentials they need for secondary school.

We wish them all the best for the future!
