Our local staff in Tanzania have been busy fundraising from friends and family over the last month to sponsor sanitary pads for young girls in school.
Through their efforts they raised nearly Tsh. 1,000,000 (£360/$430) to fund pads for over 180 girls, and yesterday, Teacher Batuli delivered several workshops on menstrual hygiene for 300 girls.
We look forward to launching a special international appeal later in the year to fund pads and menstrual education for EVERY young girl in Moshi Town.
