Christian students fast, pray and give back to the community.

Adivera leads prayers for our Christian students this afternoon, singing a traditional Swahili hymn Mwamba ni Salama (He is our rock and place of refuge) to mark Good Friday. This morning, our children packed and delivered 200 Easter Food Parcels to poor families, generously match-funded by the Beta Charitable Trust.
With Good Friday coinciding with Ramadan, all of our students, Christian and Muslim, are fasting today from dawn to dusk. In respect for Christian tradition, Muslim students will also refrain from eating meat at the fast breaking meal tonight.
