In Tanzania, most doctors are concentrated in urban areas, leaving rural communities underserved. There is also a critical shortage of specialists in fields like surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics.
Once she graduates, Romana, along with her fellow medical students, will play a key role in addressing these gaps and delivering essential healthcare to rural areas.
