Meet Yasini. This is his story in his own words:
“My father was a wealthy man, with lots of property and fertile land. But after he died, my inheritance was stolen from me, and now my mother lives in poverty. Sometimes we did not have enough money to eat and I missed many important books for school. I want to get a good education so that I can make sure that I can look after my mother when I am older.”
After fleeing to escape being murdered by family members seeking his inheritance, we supported Yasini through secondary school. Today, Yasini is thriving. He is undertaking a carpentry apprenticeship, gaining practical skills that will help him build a stable future.
