The countdown begins to complete construction of Kijana Kwanza’s new shelter in Kariwa Village, Moshi Rural, Tanzania.
The new complex will increase bed capacity from 28 to 72, providing a safe and secure home for orphans, former street children and rescued victims of child abuse. There will also be 4 new classrooms, a computer room, a library, staff and volunteer accommodation, a full catering kitchen and dining area.
At the end of September 2022, we expect to welcome 24 new children to live on-site.
