This Ramadan, Kijana Kwanza is celebrating unity through creativity. Two of our students, Jackson (Shommy Boy) a Christian, and Aizack, a Muslim, have come together to release a new interfaith song.
Titled “Ramadhani ya Moyo Mmoja” (Ramadan of One Heart), the song shows how small acts of kindness, such as a smile or a word of comfort, are meaningful forms of charity.
This year is especially significant as Ramadan and Lent starts on the same day. Our Christian and Muslim students will fast alongside each other and share iftar, breaking the fast together as a community.
