With the start of the summer holidays in Tanzania, our primary school children are in the art room, colouring templates of different animals and learning their names in English.
The most diligent student by far, sitting amongst the children, is our chemistry teacher, Juma, who has discovered an entirely new passion in life.
It’s also the first time he’s been quiet for more than 5 minutes today! His colouring of a lion is now proudly displayed next to Abdulrahman’s crocodile and Hayrathi’s giraffe in the foyer.
