Sponsor iftar (the fast-breaking meal) and suhur (the pre-dawn meal) in Ramadan for orphaned and abandoned children, young people and the wider community in Moshi, Tanzania.
A traditional iftar in Tanzania comprises dates, fried snacks such as maandazi and bajia or vitambua, uji (an East African porridge), a stew made of cassava or plantain or spaghetti. A traditional suhur is usually rice served with chicken, fish or meat.
Your donation will serve iftar and suhur to approximately 50 people, comprising 100 meals.
