Pay Zakat al-Fitr with Kijana Kwanza and support poor families in Tanzania.

NOTE: Zakat al-Fitr is issued by Kijana Kwanza as cash. We are unable to distribute Zakat al-Fitr as food stocks, as most payments are received within 24 hours of Eid al-Fitr and it is not possible to purchase food items and ensure they reach beneficiaries prior to the Eid prayer, in accordance with Islamic tradition.

The provision of Zakat al-Fitr in the form of cash is permitted by several historical and contemporary Muslim scholars. If you prefer that your Zakat al-Fitr is distributed as food, we recommend selecting another charity to process your donation.
