Visit Kijana Kwanza
We are pleased to invite you on an exclusive 8-night visit to Kijana Kwanza (23 November to 1 December) to enjoy an authentic Tanzanian cultural experience, led by our children and young people.
The visit will include a walking tour of Moshi Town, a day-trip to Marangu Waterfalls and a visit to a coffee plantation, on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest summit.
We will also offer volunteering opportunities including: (optional)
- Cooking and serving meals for orphaned children at our shelter
- Facilitating games and activities for our young people
- Planting and harvesting produce on Shabaha Farm
- Visiting children living in foster families in the community
The Ground Package includes 4* accommodation throughout, an English-speaking guide, local airport transfers and travel and all meals served on-site at Kijana Kwanza.
At an additional cost (price on enquiry), we can arrange:
- a 2-day safari to Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater
- a 1-day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro
- a tailored trip to Zanzibar

You will need to arrange your own flights (approximately £500-£700) and visas ($50 for European and Canadian citizens and $100 for US citizens). Single room supplement applies.
